When you use Contract Buster, we collect information you voluntarily provide through our submission form: your name, email address, phone number, the type of contract, and the contract document you upload. We do not collect any other information without your explicit consent.
Additionally, we may automatically collect limited technical information for service administration purposes, including IP addresses, browser type, and pages accessed. This data is collected solely for operational and security purposes and is not used for tracking or profiling.
We use your information solely to perform the contract review service you requested. Your contract is reviewed by our licensed attorneys and qualified paralegals. Your email and phone number may be used to notify you when your review is complete, to provide you with your unique ticket number, and to communicate regarding your submission status.
We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, promotional purposes, or any purpose unrelated to your requested service. Your personal information will not be rented, sold, or transferred to third-party marketers or data brokers under any circumstances.
Critical Information: Your uploaded contract file is retained for 48 hours or as much as necessary to servce you and following your submission to allow for attorney review and result generation. After this 48-hour retention period, your contract file is permanently and automatically deleted from all Contract Buster systems, including backups and archives.
Your personal information (name, email, phone number) and review outcome (cancellable/not cancellable determination) are retained for administrative and legal compliance purposes for up to 12 months to allow you to access your results via your ticket number. You may request deletion of this administrative data at any time by contacting us, subject to legal retention requirements.
Your contract files and personal information are stored in secure, encrypted data centers operated by industry-leading cloud service providers. All data in transit is encrypted using TLS/SSL protocols (128-bit minimum). Files are stored with restricted access limited to authorized Contract Buster personnel and are protected against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or misuse.
We implement role-based access controls, audit logging, and regular security assessments to maintain the integrity of your data. However, no method of data transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we employ comprehensive security measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You acknowledge that you transmit information to us at your own risk.
We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your personal information or contract documents with any third parties for their own marketing or business purposes. Your data is shared only with authorized Contract Buster team members (attorneys, paralegals, operations staff) as necessary to perform the requested contract review service.
We may disclose your information if legally required to do so by court order, subpoena, warrant, or other legal process. We may also disclose information if necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of Contract Buster, our users, or the public, or to prevent fraud or other illegal activity.
We do not disclose information to third-party service providers except those essential to service delivery (e.g., cloud infrastructure providers, payment processors for the full report purchase). Such service providers are contractually bound to maintain confidentiality and use your information only as necessary to provide services to Contract Buster.
Contract Buster does not use tracking cookies, pixels, beacons, or similar technologies to track your behavior across websites or collect information for advertising purposes.
We use essential session cookies only to maintain your session state during form submission and to prevent cross-site request forgery (CSRF). These session cookies are temporary, are deleted when you close your browser, and are not used to identify you or track your activity beyond the submission process.
If you disable cookies in your browser, certain functionality of our website may be impaired, particularly the contract upload form.
Contract Buster may contain links to external websites and resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, data collection, or content of third-party websites. This Privacy Policy applies only to Contract Buster. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any external sites you visit.
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, your personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legal basis for processing your data is performance of the contract (your request for contract review) and legitimate interest in maintaining service security and fraud prevention.
You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we have violated your privacy rights.
Contract Buster is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has submitted personal data to us, we will delete such data immediately. Contract Buster may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. The date of the most recent update is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of Contract Buster following any policy modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
